And no, this is not how I perform wine tastings. I usually wear a bib.

I was born with very sensitive olfactory senses and a natural love for things made with alcohol. I knew I had to put my nose to good use. It was a natural fit for me to begin writing about my fondness of wine.

Wine in general, however, was too broad a topic, so I decided to focus on Chilean wine.

Though I’ve spent most of my life in California, I’m originally from Chile. So... I realized that I had the Chilean origin, love of wine, nose for smells, I was living in California, America's wine country. It was perfect. The planets had aligned. It was as if I had found my life’s purpose.

Besides, I have drunk a lot of wine and had planned to drink much more as I got older.

I don’t accept samples unless you are offering in which case I will. But even if I do accept a sample, my impartiality remains intact and I will always disclose in a review if the wine being tasted was a complimentary sample and whom it was submitted by.
