-Wine.Com Review of Viña Agustinos Gran Reserva 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
Price: Around $23
Color: Deep ruby red
Nose: Peppery, plums and menthol
Taste: Full bodied in mouth, this wine is tasty and rich. Juicy and balanced. Tannins are soft.
Summary: I picked up this wine in Concepcion for 12,000 Chilean pesos, about $23 USD. I had heard that it was good from a friend, and it was no lie. This rich cab was really delightful. A great accompanyment to any meat or pasta dish you can think of.
The grapes that went into this wine were all hand harvested and the wine was aged for 14 months in French oak.
