Anakena ONA 2009 Viogner Riesling Chardonnay

Price: Around $12

Rating: ★★★★☆

Color: Goldish yellow

Nose: Tropical, floral with scents of apple and mango

Taste: Medium bodied but with a full mouth feel. Nice acidity. Tangy with clear mineral notes. Smooth finish.

Summary: I shared this wine with a friend that has a strong preference for buttery, oaky, California chardonnays. She was pleasantly surprised that she liked this. Its complex and elegant. Superb with salmon and other seafood.

Product of Chile’s Rapel valley.

Though your description about Anakena ONA 2009 Viogner Riesling Chardonnay was brief, it was informative. Thanks! I enjoy different types of wine. But I never tasted this one. Now I will going to taste it because I like full mouth feeling.
