Summary: Trader Joe’s has done ok with lower end Chilean wines in the past. At this price point it can be hit or miss. This time, unfortunately, TJ’s misses. This wine is lacking not only both complexity of nose and mouth, but also miss in the acidity department and has very little Carmenere fruit character. Its an “airy” Carmenere.
Product of Chile’s Maule Valley.
