Summary: Remember the Orson Welles line “we will sell no wine before its time” for Paul Masson wines way back when we were kids? Well I would say in a similar way “Don’t open a bottle of wine before its time” holds very much true in this case. The potential of this wine didn’t fully realize itself until the bottle had been open for more than two days. Yes, it needed lots of air to break down into a more palatable wine. This wine will rate much better if you open it sometime between 2012 and 2015.

Product of Chile’s Cochagua valley.
