The Casablanca Valley, located one hour west of Santiago, is known for the production of white wines such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Its cool climate and diversity of productive zones help in the adaptation of different varieties.
The past two years has seen the rise of significant gastronomic development, and a few of the local wineries have incorporated restaurants led by renowned Chilean chefs.
Winery visits include: Veramonte, William Cole, ViÃ±edos OrgÃ¡nicos Emiliana,Â IndÃ³mita, ViÃ±a Mar, Villard, Casas del Bosque, and others.
CASABLANCA VALLEY – (CODE 05)
Program includes: Private air-conditioned transport, chauffeur, bilingual guide (Spanish-English), lunch and tour with wine tasting at ViÃ±a Veramonte, ViÃ±a William Cole or ViÃ±a Casas del Bosque.
9:00 am: Departure from hotel in Santiago.
10:00 am: Tour and wine tasting of two wines at ViÃ±a Veramonte.
12:00 noon: Tour and wine tasting of two wines at ViÃ±a William Cole or ViÃ±a Casas del Bosque.
1:30 pm: Lunch accompanied with wine in restaurant at ViÃ±a IndÃ³mita, ViÃ±a Mar, or ViÃ±a MorandÃ©.
5:00 pm: Arrival at hotel in Santiago.
