Color: Deep burgundy red
Nose: Cherries and plums
Taste: Medium bodied with nice notes of brandied cherries.
Summary: Given the price and the fact that I had a bad experience with a recent Xplorador Cabernet, I wasn’t expecting much out of this wine. I was pleasantly surprised with this Malbec from Concha y Toro. It packs good fruit flavor in a small price. Makes for a flavorful and smooth daily drinker.
