Taste: Buttery and dense. Noticeable but pleasant tannins. The finish could have been smoother.
Summary: This wine had a distinct earthy feel to it. Almost “rooty”, if that conveys it better. A distinct masculine wine fit to accompany a hearty meat dish. Purchased at Costco.
