Price: Around $13
Color:Â Deep purple
Nose:Â Black cherries, dried black fruit of figs and raisins, and a touch of vanilla
Taste: Dry with a medium body. Silky plum flavors coat the palate. Notes of black pepper and black cherry slip away into a nice long finish.
Summary:Â This 2010 Carmenere is picking up some nice rich ageing characteristics even after two + years. Should be exquisite in another two years.
Product of Chile’s Colchagua Valley.
