Taste: Intense and concentrated. Dense with lots of thick fruit flavor. Rich in mouth with mild tannins.
Summary: Unfortunately I was not able to participate in the Wines of Chile remote tasting the week before last, but I will savor every one of the samples they sent me. This wine is big, big oak, big flavor, big dark red body. BIG. It really needed to breathe too. Tasted better after an hour, and it tasted even better the next day. This will age well another few years. I would sit on it for a bit longer.
Product of Chile’s Casablanca Valley.
