Malbec Wine Competition

Chile takes home 10 medals in the first Malbec International Competition in Bourg, France.

Eight countries submitting 132 samples took part in the first annual Malbec International Competition sponsored by the Le Concours Des Vins (C.D.V.).

39 medals were awarded with Chilean producers taking home 10. Five gold and five silver medals.

Among the Chilean winners, Viu Manent was the standout, taking home 6 medals; 4 gold and 2 silver.
