Price: Around $12
Color: Pale Yellow
Nose: Granny smith apples and citrus fruit
Taste: Thin and refreshing in body. Zesty with a good acidity particularly on the finish.
Summary: It was beginning to feel like summer in Los Angeles about two weeks ago when I tasted this. Not so much today. I was looking forward to picking up more refreshing summer wines from Chile. Guess I’m gonna have to wait a few weeks or turn up the heater.
Speaking of summer, this is a good one for a warmer day. Good flavor laced with that nice mineral character that I love in some Sauvignon Blanc wines.
Plays great with pool side appetizers or any seafood you can think of.
Originates from Chile’s Leyda valley.
