Nimbus 2011 Sauvignon Blanc

Price: Around $13

Rating: ★★★½☆

Color: Pale yellow

Nose: Green apples, fresh cut grass, citrus fruit and tiniest hint of cat pee

Taste: Dry, creamy, citrus zest with hints of peach. Silky.

Summary: This was the lowest priced white wine from the Chile Coastal region whites tasting. Good acidity propels this sauvignon blanc as  a good summer chiller value.

Product of Chile’s Casablanca Valley.
