Panilonco 2007 Merlot Malbec

by Boris at Chilean-Wine.com on January 5, 2009

Price: $6

Color: Dark Cherry

Nose: Strong scent of black currants and mint on the nose even though I had only aired the glass for about fifteen minutes.

Taste: Good flavor with a light body.

Summary: I recommend this wine at this price point.  Drink this wine young.  One quality that I liked about this wine and I don’t usually say this about reds, is that I found a somewhat “refreshing” quality to the taste.

This wine is 60% Merlot and 40% Malbec
