Color: Very pale yellow
Nose: Pineapple and melon
Taste: Very soft on the palate and round. Gentle fruit flavor. Good acidity.
Summary: I was taken aback by the softness of this wine. Its long on the finish and very smooth, missing some of that citric acidity that often accompanies some chardonnays. I like it. I like it even more at $7. Today was another 100 degree day in southern california, and so my search for great Chilean summer wines continues.
Oh, and if you had not been able to tell up to this point, I’m a terrible photographer!

I recently opened a 2007 bottle of this fine wine and was thrilled with the quality. I could not believe how wonderful it was, and the price was great. I am now on a search to find out where I can obtain some more 2007 bottles. Any suggestions?
Dolores, not sure where your from check out Vendome Liquors in North Hollywood on Cahuenga and Riverside. They had a bunch last year for a while.
If you’re in the Southern California area I would suggest checking out Jon’s Markets. Last time I checked, they still carried this one and other Puerto Viejo wines.
