Color: Deep Dark Red
Nose: Plums and vanilla
Taste: Light to medium body with good acidity, just-right tannins, good fruit flavor, and depth to it.
Summary: Santa Digna comes from the Miguel Torres wineries. What a splendid Chilean wine this is. This wine is 14% alcohol but it does not taste it. This wine is so mellow, sweet, and refreshing that its very versatile in food pairing. Red or white meats or even certain fish will dovetail nicely with this red.
This is one of the better Chilean merlot’s I’ve tasted this year. And at under $10, I’m gonna have to pick up some more.
