Santa Ema Chardonnay 2008

January 15, 2010

Santa Ema ChardonnayPrice: around $7

Color: Pale yellow

Nose: Tropical fruit; banana and peach

Taste: Citrus tang. Refreshing with good fruit flavor and a smooth finish. Juicy and balanced.

Summary: What can I say, this is the best Chilean chardonnay under $10 that I have tasted in the last year. I won’t say anymore because I don’t want you rushing out to buy all these up before I do. A great deal.

I have discovered Santa Ema, really enjoyable wines, If I could pay the winery prices I wouldn’t drink anything else. Then again perhaps the price has nothing to do with it! I will pass on my discovery to my friends.
