Color: Deep dark red
Nose: Plums, and a little vanilla
Taste: Nice and complex, herbal, leather and oak. Smooth finish.
Summary: Really interesting considering the price. After airing it for a good half hour the nose started losing some of its power but the taste really started to come together.
Balanced and enjoyable. Try this wine with a stew or other hearty meal.

I love wine and even took the time to work for one of New York’s best wine stores. I have done hundreds of tasteings and while eating lunch at a restaurant in the Hamptons tried the Santa Rita 2010. I was very impressed with the overall taste and finish. For this price go out and buy it as your everyday wine, you can’t go wrong.
