Price: Around $20
Rating:
Color: Deep ruby
Nose: Medium intensity nose with black fruit, spice and vegetal notes
Taste: Dry with good acidity. Cedar, smoke, again blackberry and some vanilla in a medium body with a smooth and lingering finish.
Summary: From the recent Wines of Chile blogger Carmenere tasting this was one of the favorite Carmenere wines of the tasting. 100% Carmenere fruit that opens up nicely over a couple of hours. Nice complexity in a $20 Carmenere.
Product of Chile’s Cochagua valley.
