Santiago Station Sauvignon Blanc

Santiago Station Sauvignon Blanc

Price: Around $4

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Color: Pale Yellow

Nose: Green apples and tropical fruit

Taste: Light bodied. Soft with citrus fruit on the palate.  Finishes smoothly.

Summary: This low end non-vintage wine is a decent little every day drinker. Especially if every day hits 89 degrees as it has been doing here in LA over the last few weeks. At this price, its real easy to keep plenty of these chilled for sipping around the back yard. Good value.

A little hint of minerality helps it accompany a refreshing seafood salad, salmon, or grilled tuna steak.

Originates from Chile’s Central valley.
