Tabali Reserva Especial 2008 Syrah

Price: Around $17

Color: Deep red

Nose: Plum, licorice, mint

Taste: Real nice fruit.  Juicy.  Silky and smoky.  A finish that is notably enduring.

Summary: This Syrah is produced in Chile’s Limari valley, one of the two most northern and desert-like valleys in Chile.   It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.  This is a good value at this price.  Its not overly complex, but its interesting, fruity, and good.
