Trader Joe’s Vinas Chilenas 2008 Merlot Reserva

June 1, 2009

Price: around: $2.99

Color: Deep Red

Nose: Berries and cherries

Taste: Balanced, not too fruity.  Medium body with a nice clean finish.

Summary: This is a very drinkable red wine.  I think its better than two buck chuck Merlot, but it will cost you two extra bucks.  If you drink wine daily, you will want to keep lots of these around.  Goes great with just about anything; pasta, meats, even alone or with some cheese.
